Regional Experts

This position is a paid, part-time role to work with us 2-5 days per month. Based at your home location, you will join our global panel of experienced researchers in Global Health. We are looking for clinical trialists, social scientists, research laboratory experts, data managers, statisticians and  senior research nurses – someone from every area of the health research ecosystem.

Working within our global team, you will design and deliver high quality capacity building initiatives. You will contribute to the development of a new Diploma in Global Health Research and you may progress to become an online tutor or mentor to our high calibre postgraduate students. We also run a professional development scheme for research teams, and you will support this highly impactful and rewarding effort as part of our team of moderators.

Requirements

  • More than five years’ experience working in health research
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and intercultural skills
  • Self-motivated, committed team member
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong digital skills
  • Fluent English
  • Reliable access to the internet
  • Contractually available 2-5 days per month

Desirable

  • Broad understanding of a range of research roles and responsibilities
  • Experience with websites or online systems and training
  • Experience developing or delivering training/education
  • Competence in another language in addition to English
